Ahhh...it feels so good that all the framed artwork is shipped to the show and the only thing that needs to be sent are back up prints.
Here is another piece "Bear Walk" that is off to the show.
and here are a few pieces I snapped a picture of before framing commenced:
For a bit life will be semi back to normal (work wise) lots of portraits and normal drawing, printing, shipping. My bff is coming for a visit on June 11th!!! And before that we are finding out about home owners insurance, doing the house inspections, and all that fun stuff. And then once my best friend leaves it will be packing, packing packing, closing on the house, painting there, tearing up the carpet in the few rooms that have it, and moving in. So, a busyish June is ahead. But in the best way possible.
I felt compelled to do LOTS of research on the home owners insurance front. People who know me that will come as no surprise. So the last 48 hours have been a crash course in that and talking in depth to very nice agents from different companies. I think in the end getting the coverage I want for the best price is what it will come down to more than one company over another. And it's one of those tricky things that companies vary so greatly state to state that the Allstate in Missouri is NOT the Allstate in Oregon so it is sort of difficult to do a ton of research and as we all know it's normally the horror stories that make it to the internet. I have gone to the sites where there are ratings, etc.
So needless to say, I will be happy when that is done.
Anywoo....I am excited when I can start sharing lots of photos, and projects, and before and afters on the house : )
That is one seriously cute bear! Good luck with all of the homeowner stuff. It can be overwhelming, but the end result will be awesome. I can't wait to see how you make the space your own. :)

Congrats on the house! I'd also recommend looking into getting an umbrella policy. It's usually not very pricey and it gives you added coverage in case someone tries to sue you and take away your house. It goes a long way towards peace of mind. :-)
