Hello again!!

 

I'm back so soon! And I come bearing gifts in the form of more free inerts. This time a to do list insert.

Why planner inserts? My life seems to get busier by the day and all the things I used to be able to juggle in my mind I now find myself needing a tangible place for. I also need the small sense of accomplishment scratching off a task gives me. It gives me design practice (never a bad thing!)

And really keeping an agenda makes me feel like the "pretend business lady" I wanted to be when I was little. I think it's in all of us (or most of us). And when I watch youtube vidoes I can see the tactile enjoyment it gives the owner as they flip and look through and talk about their own planner. It's very left side meets right side of the brain to me. Creative AND practical. Sign me up : )

I love paper! And more likely than not you do too. Stationery and cards can take me a lot of places but this is an entire new use for paper products. That combined with good affordable design coming out of Target and Craft stores and handmade sellers. YES.

Free Printable "Filofax" insterts

Well, hello!! LONG time no see is an understatement. I am actually just popping in to post some free printable insert pages for your organizer, planner, agenda, or "filofax". I actually have a Daytimer planner that takes 5.5 x 8.5 pages, so that is what I have created the inserts to fit.

Also, since it is half a letter sized sheet of paper there is just one easy cut. These inserts will of course still work with A5 planners. And if you would like them for "personal" size filofaxes you will just need to re size them.

 

 

I wanted a minimalist's week on two pages. You can hand write or stamp on the top of each page the month and year and then the dates in the circles or hearts. Easy as can be.

Remember to set your printer on the highest quality setting to get the best result. You can feed them back into your printer to have them double sided or mix and match weeks with the circles and hearts.

Two Paintings for my show at Artstream

Hello!! I wanted to pop in and let you know that I am working on abstract paintings for an upcoming show at artstream. So, over the next couple of weeks I will share what will be part of the show.

I have had family in town and then was struck down by a nasty cold and my bff is coming for a visit so I think things may remain kind of quiet around here except for sharing new work and patterns.

More Paintings

Hello agian! And yes, I am still in my studio painting away. I wanted to drop in while the coffee is brewing on this mild gray Sunday to share the newest. I hope your weekend is going well!

I have been fillng these first many days of 2012 with lots of reading, writing, and painting. I feel tucked in my on little world right now. I wanted to share some of the abstracts I have been working on. Mostly, I work in pairs. I paint two similar paintings at the same time. So while I will share one of each there is a twin to it in my studio : )

And while I don't blog much these days I am on  Twitter and Pinterest and Instagram quite a bit! I hope to see you there.

 

 

Two Big Prints

Halfway through December already!?! Time passing will never cease to amaze me. I think it is how most of my blog posts start out.

So much so that I forgot to mention these new prints that have been in the shop for a bit. They are both big uns at 13 x 19.

I never can believe how quickly the months go by, but that slippery slope from Halloween to the New Year is always the fastest.

All things Holiday are in full swing, even while Thanksgiving leftovers are still in the fridge.

And I wouldn't complain about a little snow, even just some flurries!
